It's been said that Sahin is on 120k/week and that 'Pool willing to pay 70% but Arsenal only 60% of his wages. And that Arsenal wants a buy in provision, 'Pool isn't bothered if there's no buy option.

The thing I don't get is - assuming his wages are correct - what would Arsenal be willing to pay him 1 year from now assuming they woudl've been able to buy him? Did Wenger seriously see Sahin as his first attempt to restructure the wage distribution at the club?

Seems really odd.

Saw some journo tweets that we have first option to buy Fryers in 2 years.

It's pretty borderline for sure but so is Fergie and Dein being on the tribunal and wanting 6 million for him.
