t3hbandit's post coincided with me finding the news containing Martínez' agent's quotes, so I posted it in reply to him. Said news is making it more likely Martínez will join us rather than less. You guys might not believe that. But then again, you guys also believe that I think someone should hand us the Meisterschaft this year, so I guess that figures (you might want to look no further than the "Sugar Nut has entitlement issues" accusations if you want to see what you call "full blown ******").

Because Uli Hoeneß and Matthias Sammer don't tell the press outright and just like that what they're ultimately going to be willing to pay doesn't mean they'll stick by their allegedly offered 26 Million, which everybody knows is LOLtastically way too small.

I'm sure Alex Ferguson goes out and informs The Sun with detailed figures whenever he makes a bid for a player, right?

Yeah this is correct. Rumours on RAWK say the deal is another 4 year deal and that his salary was bumped from 35K/week to 100K. It's still a recommitment to Liverpool though and is clearly good news for us.

AFAIK the main interest was from Juve, there were rumours about Madrid being interested but those may have been bollocks. I don't really see Juve as a more prestigious club than Liverpool, they probably have more of a chance of winning their league but far less people worldwide care about Serie A than the prem, so I'm not that surprised that him turning them down just required us slipping him some cash.

It's not really a recommitment though is it? He was contracted to Liverpool for 4 years yesterday and today he's still contracted to Liverpool for 4 years only now he's costing them 3 times as much. He was never going to turn that offer down.

The only good news for Liverpool is that if another club wants him they'll have to offer £110k/week instead of £40k/week.

SugarNut, you straight up said that you guys deserve to win the title this year. That's why people keep posting about that

Lol, at the idea its a recommitment. Its a substantial pay-rise after he probably asked for it, with strong rumours having surfaced that Juventus want a striker.

He had 4 years remaining yesterday, and still has 4 years remaining today albeit with a much bigger bank balance.

Well it's not a recommitment in the sense that he had YNWA tattooed on his ****, but clearly he had the opportunity to go elsewhere and didn't.

I don't know if he "clearly" had the opportunity to go elsewhere and didn't. The rumors to juve could've been more them sniffing around somewhat and NESV making it harder for a team to easily grab him.

Yes he did have the opportunity to go elsewhere...in four years, just like he does now.

How about instead of just claiming that I said that, you go and find a quote of me saying that?

As long as you lot keep believing I think the FC Bayern needs anyone to hand us ANYTHING, be it money, titles, players or what have you, you should keep the insult "full blown ******" reserved for yourselves.

In fact we are the only top club in the world that isn't handed a single ****ing thing or is in massive debt or both. So it's kind of only natural that you all get worked up so much at the slightest hint a Bayern fan COULD mean someone should hand them a title. Makes it a little bit easier to deal with the fact that all you guys' clubs are owned by someone if you talk down on the only successful club that is owned by the club itself and is debt free, right?

Have your clubs run themselves.

Have your clubs come out of debt.

Have your clubs still be successful.

AND THEN...

... tell the FC Bayern about entitlement.

Okay, so you didn't exactly say that you deserve the title. But, this line horribly reeks of arrogance and entitlement. Saying that the title Should go to no one but you guys is insanely presumptuous.

Yup, you've gone full blown ****** today

Edit: united did run themselves just fine until a BS hostile takeover happened. When we finally do get new owners, united will run itself again. Get over yourself dude.

Bayern deserves the entitlement. Most BL coaches including ours expect them to win the title every year (Bayern guys make fun of us for saying that publicly).

They can pay high wages they can buy players for loads of money and that won't change anytime soon.

LOL and WTF does that mean?

Your club either owns your club or someone else does.

The FC Bayern München e.V. for one owns the FC Bayern München AG.

Deal with it.

You said it was a recomittment and I'm saying that's bollocks. Its a pay increase because he demanded it after other clubs confirmed their interest.

Not exactly that hard to work out. Probably went something like this:

Agent leaks story Suarez might leave over racism issue
Juventus want a striker
Suarez asks for more money or he's off
Ok, here you go.
Both sing YNWA - Scouser4lifebro<3
Docile Liverpool fans annoy the ****ing world yapping on about how he's "one of them".

To Chelsea fans, how much playing time is Oscar likely to get at Chelsea? I'm asking because he's the man to be the #10 for Brazil in the WC and it would suck to see him buried in the bench.

Agree that it would suck to see him get little playing time. Hopefully it's not the case. It will take him a while to adjust as he's not been involved in pre season but I'm confident we'll see plenty of him. I'm very excited by this transfer.
