I'd start at the beginning, because I think you need to set up the man/myth/legend of Kenny Powers to fully appreciate the series, and also the first season is the best season (I have not finished this season yet, but it's the only one that's close to S1).

There
are a ton of episodes, but it gets better as it goes on. The first season is probably the most disjointed and gives the least attention to the overarching plot, but you still need to see it in preparation for what comes later. There are almost no bad episodes (there is definitely one bad/unnecessary episode, and you can totally skip it when you get to it).
