before tonight's madness starts, just wanted to post two notes.

1. Orphan Black was great this season, but one part of the finale was super lol.



2. been watching "raising hope" on netflix in my free time. through 2 seasons at this point. Honestly it's pretty great. Really awesome cast.

Love orphan black but had a rough time trying to figure out all the neolution people's motivation this season and got some of them confused. and obv not enough helena but krystal is awesome. surprised mk kinda disappeared was expecting her to be more important

GOAT day for television. US Open, NBA Finals and GOAT OF THRONES. Agree that it wasn't surprising but it was still practically perfect. I don't know what the budget for that single episode was but it had to be $40MM+.

I really enjoyed how they handled the bastards battle. As someone that's often talking about how it's hard to get invested much in certain situations because you know certain characters are safe - and jon was one of them - they went out of their way to get that uncertainty back.

The convo with the red lady before the battle, the talk with sansa into getting duped by Ramsay into entering the battlefield early and getting pelted by archers, getting trapped in the semi circle, and the shots of him looking around all confused/getting trampled really sold the idea that he done goofed and was gonna get got.

Just a really well done episode to me, and that end was so satisfying.

I was having Criminal Minds flashbacks when Jon was beating down Ramsey. He's dead Hotch!

i got a nice hannibal vibe there at the end with the hello sansa line too

dude that played ramsay did a great job

yah there's some defining roles that people get that are forever linked to them, and i think that actor will forever be Ramsey

Yeah I'm only about 10 min in but it already looks more expensive than the entire rest of the season.

And even though Dany has gotten kind of fat I'd still throw her an F. /sexism

ya she's gained weight and i cant stand her but she's a no brainer 2 cmonson

Really liked the plot twist of little finger riding to the rescue, thought it might be something cheesy and super obvious like Bran turning up and warging Ramsey or a double cross by one of the houses supporting Ramsey, but anyway glad the writers earned their huge salaries by saving the day for the good guys in a way no one could have possibly predicted.
