GoT had three really good episodes and then one **** one. Clear they had no clue what to do with Arya but she was so popular they had to do something. Unfortunate. And if I don't get to see Mountain go ape on the Faith Militant I am gonna be unhappy.

I didn't really mind the Arya storyline either and actually think there is some equity in the other girl being some hallucination/split personality that she is now free from.

and again, disagree with the POV that it's all been a giant waste of time. the Arya that arrived in Braavos would never have been able to kill Meryn Trant or fight in the dark or (probably?) pick pocket those bags of money. she's progressed, even through the writers have done an admirable job of trying to hide that at times.

I still think TOJ reveal happens this season. I'm thinking it's the last scene of the finale.

I think the smart money is on the writers throwing the bookreaders a bone but they're gonna let GRRM do the reveal in TWOW. Can't really think of any other reason to cut it off where they did. That scene was pretty much pointless without the reveal, I mean yeah we found out that Howland stabbed Dayne in the back but who ****in cares?

The reason your first few books/seasons were so damn good was because you didn't do **** like that. It made situations seem important as they were developing and created tension. Now we've reached a point where Jon dies and Arya gets stabbed and leading theories are just that he'll get revived (true) and it wasn't really her (false) because we all know it's just a ploy. It's fake tension, it doesn't work, and nobody bought either of them.
