The Wall sucks, I'm sorry, it just does. In an alternate universe where White Walkers and Wildlings don't exist, GoT is even better. This was just a way worse version of Blackwater

Bobbo - agree that she was likely to kill Jon so he probably did need saving. Also agree about the two brothers that were regular characters. Should have kept at least one. Disagree vehemently about quality versus blackwater. It wasn't even close.

I really liked everything that wasn't in that courtyard where everyone was sword fighting. Too hard to really see what was going on, who was killing who, etc.

But the giants and mammoths and the huge ****ing scythe was all awesome. That giant with the bow who shot that dude? That was ****ing awesome.

The fighting was much, much better then blackwater. Better ep? Probably not, but anyone who says the fighting was worse is just being negative for the sake of it.

seems like GoT fans are ok with 45 mins of crap as long as something BIG happens. This was pretty close to an hour of sustained excellence. Good fighting, good drama, good passing of the torches and such, for once non-ass scenes involving Sam. Def delivered.
