That just seems so wrong to me. Bama should be like +6.5. I guess that just shows how biased and scared I am, though.

Kinda know what you mean. Don't get me wrong: I think Alabama is going to win. But I'm not sure how someone looking at the game objectively could make Alabama a favorite given how the two teams have played up to this point.

I'm reading that if UGA wins Saturday our best-case bowl scenario would be a chance to renew our rivalry with Clemson in the Music City Bowl

The Bronco Nagurski Award (best def. player) is a dead heat between UGA DE Justin Houston (leads SEC in sacks) and Clemson DE Da'Quan Bowers (leads nation in sacks)

So that would be pretty neat, considering.

Remember when UGA was coming off a 4 game losing streak and was -11 home against Tennessee, and everyone thought that was off? Yeah.

I just don't see Tech being able to stop the offense, assuming Murray is healthy. And yeah, Nesbitt being out is a huge loss for Tech. I really hope UGA is out for blood. I'm really not very worried at all.

Is anyone interested in betting the +13 with me? Let me know. I lost $100 to Holliday when UGA lost to Auburn, and I'd like to make that back.

AngerPush, I'll give you action if you want it. Current line Tech +13 and Auburn -4.5-- $100 on each or less, or a la carte, as you like.

Would like my "Cam not ruled ineligible" caveat, though.

Honestly, I think Arkansas should be #1. Most underachieving team all year imo.

Arkansas's defense hasn't been good enough and we didn't find our running game until the 2nd half of the season. We've played 5 teams in the BCS top 25 and we are 3-2 with only one of those games being a home game. Not sure how that can be considered underachieving when you consider Petrino inherited nothing and in 3 years has us completely turned around.

By underachievement, I meant the opposite of LSU/Auburn (i.e. unlucky to be 9-2)

They haven't been unlucky. Just a tough schedule. 9-2 is a great record against their opponents. Unlucky against Auburn, and somewhat Bama, but Mallett really just blew that game. Lucky against Georgia, very lucky against MSU; didn't see the ATM game. Probably lucky to catch SC the week before they played Florida since they didn't even show up.

What a great play! To despise ND for so long and get that win...an awesome memory. Thanks for the link.

I'll take Dawgs -13 for $100 and
Tide -4.5 for $50

The Cam caveat is fine. Quote to book and I'll post it in the prop bet tracking thread. Thanks for the action!

Agreed.

Settle after UGA, may take me until Sunday a.m. if I'm in a poker room. Good luck!

Posting from the quad. Crowd is sparse -- about the same as for Mississippi State. Combination of weather, shopping and a Friday, I guess. So much for the huge projected crowds.

Man that was a good game, although I really don't know what to make of most of it. First half was the Alabama we expected this season, second half I guess the Auburn we've come to expect.

Say one thing for Auburn, they sure can make a gambler sweat!

I've have bet the following regarding Auburn this year:

$100 +8 on UGA against Auburn
$100 that Auburn would lose at least 1 of the following 3 games: Kentucky, Ole Miss, UGA
$75 to win $50 that Auburn would not finish in the BCS top 10 following regular season weekend (this bet was before the Kentucky game)
$50 Alabama -4 1/2 against Auburn

I have lost all 4. Auburn most definitely deserves to play in the MNC if they can beat South Carolina. And honestly, I believe that they deserve to play in it even if they play well and lose a close one, but realistically that's just not going to happen.

If Auburn does lose a close one to South Carolina, you really have to feel for them and their bad luck, combining with the 2004 season. Especially considering that Florida has won 2 BCS titles with a loss and LSU has won 1 with a loss and 1 with 2 losses!

That's just my opinion though. I am extremely impressed with all Auburn has accomplished so far this season, and will be rooting for them against South Carolina. From a Dawg fan to the Auburn fans: War Cam Eagle :-)

Huge game tomorrow. Arkansas vs LSU, winner gets the Sugar Bowl as long as Auburn wins the SECCG.

Bama hasn't had put together two good halves of football all year. Standard.

Bama in the first half beats the Carolina Panthers. Bama in the second half doesn't beat a Sun Belt team.

Watching that 2nd half caused almost as much pain as the quantity of bourbon it forced me to consume is causing me today.

What a game, one for the ages. Can't say I felt good about being in the stadium when it hit 24-0 but damn it felt good to be there when the clock hit 0:00. War Cam Eagle
