Finished with my leaf green emu 2 days ago. Been grinding Emerald since. Bunch of pokemon I have no clue about, but it certainly is fun.

Just started FireRed for kicks.
Nicknaming your starter pokemon..yay or nay? I decided to do it this time, didn't the first time I played it iirc

I'm actually somewhat excited for W2/B2 to come out this summer now...maybe even a new Wii "stadium" which would be perfect for the planned drunk battlements for shots

I started the original GBC version of yellow. I completely forgot they remade the red/blue games. I kind of want to start over (only near the 4th gym) cause I want to hear the new music and see the new graphics. I hate having Pikachu follow me around too. My team now is Pikachu/Sandshrew/Vilepulume/Kadabra/Nidoqueen/Charmander. It lacks heart. I think I have to start over.

Evolve Pikachu and he won't follow you around anymore (I think you had to trade to do that in yellow though)...I think you can also stuff him in a box or something.

Chilltown...go with FireRed or LeafGreen imo (later gen remakes of Gen1)

Nah, I mainly just beat it. I caught as many as I could along the way (didn't get Moltres. Couldn't figure out how to go back to the 1,2,3 islands or w/e they were called once I left there the first time).

The one I used in place of Moltres to beat the Elite 4 was

I think the max pokemon I ever caught in any of the games was something like 20ish. Never went after that kinda stuff, just got the ones I needed to pwn the trainers.

current pokedex is like 140 seen 60 caught. took me a legit 4-5 hours to catch dratini, but then when i did i also caught tauros in like 5 min.

Now I got Ivysaur/Nidoking/Buttefree/Pikachu/Zubat/spare

Ivy and Nidoking I can commit too. Butterfree is a fun Pokemon to have around. Pikachu is a placeholder for Jolteon. Zubat is fun and will get replaced b Articuno.

And in competitive play every slot is stacked; teams' #3-#6 slots in this format will be for obvious reasons much weaker than those in competitive play. So if Dugtrio's HP doesn't make it a liability in competitive play against elite line-ups, it certainly won't make it one here.
