Derp. Keep proving my point. I'm not even arguing he should win. I'm saying that he can. Betting markets and polling models all seem to have him at 35-40% to win the ****ing presidency and you're over here acting like he's some fringe third party pipe dream that has no chance of winning. Naive. Clueless. Carry on.

Can't wait for the unskewing of the polls.

Oh yeah I clearly called them that and wasn't sarcastically posting in Woody's voice. Work on your contextual reading comprehension.

And now Virginia is pretty much out of play so he has to win all the other swings. Good luck with that.

i understood the context, it's still not appropriate and it's offensive. and afaik woody hasn't resorted to racial slurs itt.

He has a 30-40% chance of winning because of partisan politics mainly, and because Americans as a whole are not very smart.

Nice, the "ignore betting markets and polls because I KNOW SOME PEOPLE" technique.

That was the point, to show how offensive and misguided Woody's posting has been for months now.

Pouring out all a little liquor for SEMANTIKES I see. What did the betting markets say about mittens immediately after the republican convention?

I got that, but let's just avoid the racial slurs as a general rule.

Umm ok? I couldn't care less to really argue why he might win. All I've been saying is that it's a very realistic probability he might win and I guess you agree? So maybe simmer down with the personal attacks and arguing against things I'm not saying

Yes, I do agree with that. It's still fairly unlikely, but it's significant and real.

What does it matter? The fact that Mitt lost doesn't mean he was drawing dead the entire time. It's not really semantic nit to refute you seemingly arguing that Trump has no chance to win when there's every reason to believe he has a pretty significant chance to.

Again, I haven't said he doesn't have a chance. Mittens "had a chance" and ended up getting curb stomped in the electoral college.

I disagree with this. Most people's election voting strategy is to vote "for the lesser of two evils" aka against someone. Many people weren't voting for trump, they were voting against the political establishment and he was the non political guy they heard of. (ofc many were doing so for delusional reasons (ie he tells it like it is or whatever nonsense))

Against turns the mentality into "us vs them" and anyone on them side is bad and we hate them and love our team. We've seen this work effectively all the time over history; at the very least I can't remember too many "for" type of rallying things mentioned in the history books.

Also that turkey guy is going full dictator now but I'm presuming the media dgaf tho. (if putin tried ONE of those things on the other hand...)

I'm really surprised trump went safe with VP, I'm well aware that's tradition (ie VP mostly can only hurt you) but I think he needed to swing for the fences, either go full ridic like a kardashian or somebody popular or make some deal with kasich for ohio, don't think indiana guy is gonna get him ohio. Playing it safe isn't gonna win him this election.

Is Emmanuel Lewis still alive? Trump carrying his vp pick like a baby onto the stage at campaign stops would have been amazing.
