It's not so much that single guy specifically but the large scale exposure of racist scum being massively beneficial for society.

I'm cool with exposing a loser like that but it's ultimately pretty worthless.

Outwardly racism scum are a problem but ultimately they are a very small minority. The problem is institutional racism/trumpism which is much harder to "out" since like 1/2 the country is basically OK with it.

(In before the bashing that shall follow as everyone twists what I say )

Theoretically, assuming he did not assault anyone, Mr. Hot Dog vendor did not commit a crime. He was fired due to attending and supporting an event that his employer did not approve of.

Does this not open up a Pandora's box where an employer can fire an employee that attends a rally the employer does not support?

Reworded: Let's agree that the firing is justifiable. Can we then not be upset if somebody gets fired that attends a protest if we feel like their protest is more just?

I've reached the point Hoya has been at for awhile where I no longer see a path to this all ending well. Even if Trump is impeached tomorrow, he will still be out there riling up his base and his impeachment seems highly likely to lead to widespread violence across the country.

The longer he stays in power, the worse our future all gets though. Even the scenario where Mueller has rock solid evidence of treason likely doesn't end well. WAAF

I hate to break it to you, but that "pandora's box" is already open.

You are entitled to your freedom of speech and your employer is entitled to fire you for it. Customers are entitled to boycott a business if they feel it is unjust in firing an employee for their speech. This is not a new or remotely controversial subject.

Why is there such unrest/shock about Kaepernick not being on a team then?

(let's even assume he's a good quarterback for this exercise)

That is customers of the NFL expressing their displeasure with NFL owners for not hiring a clearly competent player for what they view as unjust reasons. Just as you are allowed to Boycott or criticize Top Dog if you want to. No one has ever said it is illegal for NFL owners to not hire Kaepernick, they are simply being critical of that decision.

Because the team feels him being on the team will cost them money (taking into consideration that he's better than replacement level). Again, not a new concept.

Competent meaning clearly worthy on athletic merit of at least a #2 quarterback job in the NFL. This is completely aside from any point being discussed though.

Kaepernick thing has nothing to do with a nazi getting fired for being a nazi.

If its "opening up a pandoras box" to fire and ostracize nazis, then open away.

I mean, you do have pretty bad takes. And you're just trolling for the sake of it. You're pretty pathetic.

Also, again you're basically equivocating one side discussing that black people don't have a right to exist with someone protesting how often unarmed black men are being shot by police.

One of these positions is more extreme than the other.

I too am afraid of the slippery slope that will start when blatant Nazis get terminated from their employment in America

I'm generally opposed to doxxing and pro free speech but these are literal Nazis. If you go to a Nazi rally you can expect some social consequences.

I've lived under the assumption, for a long time, that America was different from the Euro countries with their alt right movements. We're no better, apparently. I really thought we were beyond this. Makes me sad.
