Why did you bold that sentence and then respond with this non sequitur? He didnt say that any of the debates were produced or moderated by any CNN employees. He said CNN employees tried to rig them against Trump. Which seems pretty accurate except the plural part. Are you just pretending to be stupid?

I've found no confirmation either, so we will see. Supposedly there is further reporting coming re: that twitter thread on the subject.

So basically it's up to the Generals? Once he starts ordering violence against dissenters, unless the military says no we've got ourselves a dictatorship.

So an introspective, thoughtful person might respond to this realization by wondering what views they themselves are badly out to lunch on, especially given the likelihood that they are much less intelligent than Ben Carson. And thus reduce their confidence in most of their most cherished positions.

The questions were leaked for a Dem debate. Zero trump involvement.

I don't need confirmation on that one to believe it and it also means he's about done with full dictator control of the country.

Damnit. They have takeovers perfected by now. How great is the american people and resolve? We're about to find out. So far, too few had the balls to tell him no. If everyone did, he can't do anything but that never happens .

Its true there is a difference, but it isnt true that the fake news stuff is worse. There is an easy rebuttal to the fake news stuff...it is fake. It isnt true. The harm done by bias is much subtler and harder to refute. Its also more widespread by a factor of about a billion.

This is something that anyone who cares at all about racial or gender bias knows and accepts as obviously true, in that context, though they probably disagree when the context is TRRUUUMMMMPPP

I've had similar experiences with engineers. Try talking to an engineer about Literally Anything Other Than Engineering. It can get hilarious quickly (also sad quickly). One of my good buddies is an engineer and one of the smarted MFers I've ever known and he posted some **** the other day basically saying "Anyone who is against the MUSLIM BAN should stop locking their doors at night." wat

In his defense, rigging a democratic debate against Trump sounds like a pretty democrat thing to do.

And it is legit concerning that CNN would hire someone so ass-kissingly stupid that they would pass any candidate a question, and 1000000x worse that it'd be the "What'll you do about the water?" question in Flynt, ffs, for a candidate that everyone agrees is pretty wonky about subjects she's looked into (that bitch does her homework--some of us found that comforting, btw). This moron going on to head the DNC is another sad, sad indictment.

The "it's fake" rebuttal doesn't work when so many people believe it's real.

Agree bias is also very bad. The media is bad at their jobs and should feel bad.

meh I think I finally agree with vhawk on something. The bias is what is causing people to believe the fake news and to reject the notion that it's fake, seems objectively worse based on that alone.

Intelligence covers all spectrums of life; most geniuses at one subject are absolute morons in others.

This feels like one of those incorrect answers on an SAT question.

Since we are admitting we are all really dumb, here is where you one of the stupidiest human beings I have ever seen. Your love of playing devil's advocate and nitting has an uncanny ability to shift the debate in the exact opposite direction of your stated beliefs, which I admit are much smarter than my dumb beliefs.

It would be infinitely better if you were completely incapable of rational thought, an outright moron through and through. Instead you have the intelligence to get to the right position and then you work diametrically against it. Its quite remarkable really.

Yep. I've been coming to terms with the fact that many of my friends and family simply don't give a **** about anyone other than those inside their own little circle. Look at how many people send "thoughts and prayers" when something bad happens but don't actually do a ****ing thing. It's interesting that the most religious are the ones sending the most thoughts and prayers and doing the least amount of work to help others.

This never fails to totally piss me off. I think most people only care about the perception of being a good person rather than actually being one.

The best people I've met are usually religious though but too many are the thoughts and prayers only crap of don't give a ****, I'd rather be told that straight up.

there are millions of people in this country who believe that millions of people voted illegally. the fact that it didn't happen doesn't matter one bit. they read it and therefore it happened.
