Had an idea on how the Challenge draft would work. Basically the best way I think it works is if each drafter is essentially an investor. You draft a stable of CHALLENGERS on the assumption that there will be a bunch of challengers. The goal is to build the most profitable stable with there being all of the different formats (duel, island, exs, free agents, rivals, etc). Probably would work with like 8 teams and 6 rounds or something. Maybe 10 teams idk.

The reason this format would be good is because it would factor in politics and physical prowess. And it wouldn't just be sort by money won because every season would essentially be an all-star season so people like Bananas and Wes might not dominate as much as they can with idiot rookies etc.

Pick a cast that creates the best season. 8 guys 8 girls, judged on entertainment value. Challenge ability, politics, and talking to the camera skills

Would steroid Wes be a different character than skinny Wes?

+1 to a challenge draft, would be down to co-own if we have too many owners as well.

8 guys and 8 girls per team may be too many depending on how many teams there are in this. Teams of 4 or 6 could be awesome though for the thoughts of cross team politics. If someone gets skipped twice, they should have Casey and Big Easy auto-added to their teams

I think a team of 6 (4guys/2girls) or 7 (4guys/3girls) would be ideal.

I haven't seen many seasons so I am out, but someone should be TEEJ and design the season in terms of challenges then have a panel vote out how each one would play out. Like TEEJ says episode 1 is X Challenge and Y Dome (with youtubes of past ones), but keeps it under wraps as teams are drafted. Then the "simulated" winner (panel vote?) should pick which team to throw in the dome which is again simulated by vote and that team loses. Go through however many of those til you get to the final and send the whole thing to Bill Simmons to be voted on the final winner in a column.

I still think we need Eltbus to just do a 1-200 or whatever ranking of all time challengers like the horrible Rolling Stone list of SNL cast members

And in true Eltbus fashion make it one post per ranking

I love this. I haven't watched enough challenge to be an owner though.

how far into the season are kenny and evan kicked off for rape? dramatically effects their draftability.

Someone was white knighting Jay every time it was correctly pointed out that he was short, or stupid, or ugly, or clueless, or otherwise bad at the CHALLENGE. Like to the point where I was wondering if it was Jay himself. Thought it was you but might have been someone else.

I've watched most of the episodes online (easy peasy with ad.block) but am really glad to have watched this one on DVR due to TJ's amazing soulkiller disses of Jay and Jenna during the commercial break at 40:00. My favorite part of the episode easily. Agree that whether Noze was right about it being edited in after the fact doesn't really make it less great.

Also, GREAT outcome. Leroy is super likable but with in****ingsufferable Theresa as his teammate there was no way I could root for them. Not sure how long the final hike took but it seemed like five minutes could have been closed fairly easily if they were actually more fit. Had me worried.

This thread pretty much hates every single newbie every season. It isnt new. Theres definitely a bias. Not saying he is a good cast member obviously or even on level with the old veterans, but his commentary is def above average and far from something that needs to have 5 "jay woat" posts every time he speaks.
This was my jay defense. Basically.

i had to stop a minute in that was awful. bananas is quickly becoming withered

Yeah, banana's douchiness was really on full display this season. I've lost a lot of respect for Leroy for being all over his nuts all the time.

all the tweets that happened before i stopped watching a minute or so in were absolutely right, and bananas' replies were cringeworthy and ruined what was an otherwise good idea executed well by someone else.

wasnt a big fan of this season overall although it certainly improved drastically in the last few episodes.

for the next season, i agree with those who suggested they revert back to a 2 team format. or maybe some new creative 4 team format. if not, i hope they do fresh meat 3 with plans to keep the CHALLENGE alive for a while even if the rumors are true about the real world being over.

probably going to regret asking this but what's going on with banana's inner collar in that video? Is it a fashion thing I don't know about or is his actual tie threaded through the inside? If it is some ****ed up Johnny Bandana marketing idea then I seriously don't want to know and please don't respond.
