Caught up and watched today. Goodness Roylee got played so so hard. And lol at Zach just throwing the sledge at it and not caring to make decent contact in the middle...shameful performance.

Zach seems incredibly overrated. Performed poorly in Hall Brawl in BotS, losing 3 out of 5 to a much smaller guy. Died going up the mountain with Laurel on Free Agents, and finished way back of the two guys on the solo climb up the final mountain. And now, he lost a sledgehammer competition to a guy with one hand. He looks impressive, but the results just aren't there. Just doesn't seem to have the WIM to match his physique, nor the cardio to crush a final.

I'm torn, I just did a re-watch of RW Portland and was reminded of how awful a human being Nia is. I love Roylee but I hate her more, sorry big guy but I can't cheer for you anymore.

I agree, but she actually had a close finish with Nany.

I remember that she only beat Nany's time by ~10 minutes. Keep in mind that that is over a marathon-like final challenge and not a short race, and they made it seem as if it was very close on tv due to the challenge length/difficulty.

finished rewatching gauntlet 3.

couple random thoughts:
-cant believe evan wants bananas in the gauntlet rather than danny. ive always thought bananas was wayyy better politically than in the actual challenges but danny sucks at everything.
-frank/jillian are awesome. rest of the team was annoying.
-melinda is such a dumb bitch
-tori is one of the least likable humans ive ever witnessed. hate her so much. cant believe brad wifed her in real life. **** her.

overall, decent season but of the ones i rewatched recently, id rank:
1 ruins
2 fresh meat 1
3 gauntlet 3

Zach is held back by the fact that he's just incredibly stupid. I feel like the other challenge beasts at least have some functioning intelligence that propels them to success. Simple things like understanding that hitting with a sledgehammer at an angle and having the head roll off the surface is not a good thing.

Zach and Jonna may be the dumbest team assembled in the history of the CHALLENGE
