I think you can’t have more than 2 “vets” on your team (though Josh is clearly a Vet and Michelle should be considered one at this point though she’s playing the survivor side).

Amanda was never going to back the rest of the vets since she’s never been part of the vacation alliance while Cory and Faysal have never been fans of bananas and Wes. I think Amanda leaving helps the vets keep their numbers along with the Red Team being somewhat pro-vet while I feel like the CBS alliance players could well break apart at some point (the cracks are already there with Michelle). I can’t see Alyssa L handling any sort of physical elimination against Tori or anyone bigger than her. Same can be said for the rest of them barring Desi and Michaela.

I remember TEEJ saying each team has to have 2 vets during the draft. I assumed that meant each has to have 2 vets to start the competition, but maybe I'm wrong.

Yea, I’m definitely torn on this. I wish they could have the running of the show this season with last season’s cast. Especially that dumpster fire of a final. Them bringing in some vets and trying to play off that Josh, Faysal, Michelle aren’t vets probably tells us that they didn’t like last seasons ratings and felt like they needed MTV faces on there.

That said, I’m enjoying this season overall so far. Good mix of drama, fights, game play, dailies, and eliminations with a pretty good cast overall.

Chris really has something competetively speaking. And he can give Fess a go. It’s tempting to make them fight for a spot in the final

Fess is alpha dog numer 1.0000 right now so if Chris can beat him in something physical, Chris is in the club. 10 seasons type of kid. All he does is win. And he looks like such a marshmallow. It’s something else. Do we have an athletics background on Chris?

Fun to learn that Tori played soccer. Not one of the first five guesses i would have made.

New season on MTV starting on October 25. Looks like it’s all non-winners but they have to go up against some challenge vets at some point.

I liked the season where you had to go into the arena at least once to qualify for the final. They need to do that all the time.

Really impressive stuff from Chris all the way around, seems like he's built well to get all the way through a season. Fessy continues to disappoint in finals, he fixes the eating thing but he doesn't pay attention day 2 and immediately gets penalized. He's likely never winning a final until he ends up with a female partner who can put him in his place and handle all of the strategic and mental stuff, just like Tori is never winning a final without a Devin level of partner.

Looked up Chris, football and a good basketball player in HS who went to Wofford and doesn't seem like he did much at that level. Seems like he's pretty good at random stuff and can keep his head on his shoulders during finals, which sometimes is the entire battle.

Good work from Desi too, she didn't win much during the season but she also seems like a tank and proved it in the final. I'd have been curious to see where her and Michaela would have ended up had it been a straight footrace the entire way, but sometimes strategy wins out.

Good stuff from Chris, and it was nice to see Desi get to compete in a final individually, as I'm personally a fan of individual challenges/finals. Solid season all around.

Im prepared for everyone to hate this upcoming season. Reading the main cast, there is almost no one we care about.

Few people I want to root for more than Eddy. Guy has a fantastic attitude. Horacio is probably too pure for this game.

I’m actually pretty excited by this cast. There is a lot of possible talent that can be the face of the series for seasons 41-50 and they won’t have to deal with tbe vacation alliance this season(it’s one thing for Bananas or CT to coast, seeing Kaycee/Anessa/Josh coasting deep into the seasons blow). The women’s side looks a lot stronger than the men’s, but there’s always surprises and I can see Ed or Asaf making impacts that we didn’t expect.


Horacio is now kicking it with Nurys. Even if this season doesn’t go as well as we hope, if they’re together irl and on the same season going forward she will easily control the social **** and Horacio has more win potential than pre-injury Nelson
