Yea, Lopez looked bad in his last fight, so will be interesting to see if he can bounce back.

Guys that have taken as much damage as he has are always on the verge of dropping off it seems (Angulo seemingly dropped off in the last fight for example).

I don't know Aron Martinez, but hopefully he's better than Lopez's last opponent, who was close to winning that fight iirc.

Strange ending but no idea what else the ref is supposed to do there other than stop it. You cant just turn around in the corner. Lopez TKO 5

A little weird, but Josesito looked competent, good for him.

Yea, good call by the ref to stop that fight, can't give the fighter a chance to fight again after he turns around to stop a barrage.

That idiot Gullermo Jones took the same banned substance he tested positive for after his last fight and now that fight is off because the two sides couldn't come to an agreement (shocking that Don King, Jones' promoter, couldn't come to agreement lol).

So we're robbed of a rematch of one of the best fights of last year and certainly the best fight among heavier fighters last year. Lame.

Yup. Instead we get Wlad vs. Alex Leapai (who?)

I think a punching bag has a better chance of knocking Wlad down.

I just watched Shannon Briggs most recent fight (a week ago), if you get the chance, watch it. Too damn funny.

Spoiler:
Briggs basically walks into an elementary school gymnasium, many of the bleachers aren't even pulled out. His opponent looks like he could stand to lose 80 lbs. The bell rings, Briggs chases him around, I think he lands a jab and the fat dude just falls down and quits. 11 second KO.

lol it was at Black Bear Casino in Minnesota

His opponent actually had a winning record (17-9, 5 KOs). However, 13 of those wins came against winless fighters lol.

As described by fightnews.com

Spoiler:
The fight was delayed from actually starting for 35 minutes after Briggs entered the ring and then broke it! Briggs climbed through the ropes, danced to the opposite side of the ring, bounced off the ropes and snapped a support causing the ropes to sag. Both fighters left the ring so repair work could be done. They then each returned after repairs were made and the nights action continued. Briggs rushed out of his corner at the opening bell and playfully dropped his hands and tapped Mireles with mocking punches. One of the shots glanced off the side of Mireles, putting the Mexican heavyweight down where he decided to stay. Time of the stoppage was :27 into the first round.

If GRJ rejects that fight he's the WOAT. 400k+ to fight a 1-1 fighter, who is good but not great... what more can you ask for when going for a belt?

Fury coming across really well as a pundit for the Klitschko fight. Don't usually see him talk without all the bravado.

Actually I'll correct that, he's coming across polite and humble but a bit dumb.

Geez that was a 10-8 round. Didn't look like Leapai landed a single punch.

Klitschko looks as though he's keeping him up, hoping that a fight will break out.

Wlad seems like he realizes a KO on espn could be very good for his bottom line. Leapai is really that bad though, could just be such a poor punching bag that it's too damned easy for Wlad, lol.

I thought he was joking when he said he wanted to fight for the next decade but he could probably do this at 60
