Yea, Lopez looked bad in his last fight, so will be interesting to see if he can bounce back.
Guys that have taken as much damage as he has are always on the verge of dropping off it seems (Angulo seemingly dropped off in the last fight for example).
I don't know Aron Martinez, but hopefully he's better than Lopez's last opponent, who was close to winning that fight iirc.
Yea, good call by the ref to stop that fight, can't give the fighter a chance to fight again after he turns around to stop a barrage.
That idiot Gullermo Jones took the same banned substance he tested positive for after his last fight and now that fight is off because the two sides couldn't come to an agreement (shocking that Don King, Jones' promoter, couldn't come to agreement lol).
So we're robbed of a rematch of one of the best fights of last year and certainly the best fight among heavier fighters last year. Lame.
I just watched Shannon Briggs most recent fight (a week ago), if you get the chance, watch it. Too damn funny.
Spoiler:
Briggs basically walks into an elementary school gymnasium, many of the bleachers aren't even pulled out. His opponent looks like he could stand to lose 80 lbs. The bell rings, Briggs chases him around, I think he lands a jab and the fat dude just falls down and quits. 11 second KO.
His opponent actually had a winning record (17-9, 5 KOs). However, 13 of those wins came against winless fighters lol.

Spoiler:
The fight was delayed from actually starting for 35 minutes after Briggs entered the ring and then broke it! Briggs climbed through the ropes, danced to the opposite side of the ring, bounced off the ropes and snapped a support causing the ropes to sag. Both fighters left the ring so repair work could be done. They then each returned after repairs were made and the nights action continued. Briggs rushed out of his corner at the opening bell and playfully dropped his hands and tapped Mireles with mocking punches. One of the shots glanced off the side of Mireles, putting the Mexican heavyweight down where he decided to stay. Time of the stoppage was :27 into the first round.
Wlad seems like he realizes a KO on espn could be very good for his bottom line. Leapai is really that bad though, could just be such a poor punching bag that it's too damned easy for Wlad, lol.
