Barker deserved it after coming back from the knock down. Most people don't ever beat the count from brutal liver shots. Good job Darren, great win.

I agree. Some of the rounds were really close, but I'd lean some of those towards Barker. Barker's winning rounds were more dominant, minus the knockdown round.

tremendous fight i would love to see a rematch. i watched the first 7 rounds live then just got back from being out and about and the replay was showing 9th round when i got home...awesome performance from both fighters. i would have to rewatch again to get legitimate scoring but i thought barker deserved the slight win altho prob a little bit wider *slightly*. amazing fight in a year of amazing fights. i have it top 5ish for the year which is saying alot

i really think they should fight again. barker coming back from that liver shot was just so great. there is no other sport where i routinely get goosebumps and the shivers from watching. great ****in fight

we still have the homestretch of the year and lots of good fights comin up. i have only been a boxing fan for a few years but this is lookin like hte best year that i remember

oh yea i loled hard when cotton got the wrong fighter on that low blow and barker didn't even say anything

barker got caught with a low blow straight to the nuts and then cotton turns at him and is like PICK EM UP and barker just says okay sorry

glad to see ingerland didn't lose both their fights today

judges were surprisingly reasonable IMO and great postfight interview

It is a mismatch. Just keep your hopes up that the rest of the division will grow some balls and fight ggg.

i rewatched geale/barker for a third time. think iv settled on 115-112 barker but really close fight obv. also that romero-kiko martinez fight was a real pleasure to watch too. I didn't watch the martinez-frampton fight but that makes me at least wanna watch frampton in his next fight, I still haven't seen him fight. Kiko was fun to watch getting inside and just *destroying* romero but seems like it was a massive indictment on romero more than anything. hbo hype train derailed i suppose he looked completely lost on how to keep kiko on the outside

Season finale of FNF tonight. Really good first fight so far.

Yea this one is fun. TV scorecards a bit bizarre though, I feel like Cuellar is winning handily, especially after the knockdown. What do you think? I missed first two rounds and I assume Cuellar lost those based on cards.

Edit: Marrero looked better this round, barely standing in previous rounds (balance and energy looked bad in 7-9).

115-112 or 116-111 Cuellar is what I'd guess.

I could listen to Mike Tyson talk all day. Boxing has never seen such a tortured soul and never will. It's scary we never got to know how good Mike really was.

Mendez should win easily. Usmanee needs to get inside and land big shots to stand a chance.

I had the two confused. Usmanee looks better to me so far in this fight, though he got a little sloppy this last round and Mendez came out of his shell a bit more.

Usmanee does not look as bad as his rating and Mendez doesn't look nearly as good to me.

I have Mendez winning handily right now. Usmanee is a lot more busy but he's not connecting at all. Right now I have it 5-2 for Mendez through 7.

Yea I think Mendez won the last few rounds for sure. He's dodging better and he looks like he's getting stronger, whereas Usmanee is getting more tired and missing even more (early on his punches were harder and it looked to me like it was just a matter of time until Usmanee connected with a few hard ones.

Well, I have it 9-3 for Mendez but it is a tough fight to score. Could see it being a lot closer. Either way, great way to end the FNF season.
