If he's gonna get a big payday then why not? Who else is out there for a super fight? He could get lucky and land a monster shot.

It's not like he has an unbeaten record to defend. He has nothing to lose.

He's very unorthodox and not really a great athlete.

He's really really tough though and got a great workrate.

Typical overachiever.

Who would you rank top 3 chins in boxing?

Froch
Margarito
Vitali? Still?

James Toney probably still have a sick chin.

Of all time clearly Chuvalo.

That uppercut at 1.46 after taking a huge right is crazy.

Lol at Froch saying that if Ward came to England, Froch would win.

Doesn't matter where you fight the GOAT, S.O.G, Froch would get served.

Had to think a bit for active fighers, but I think Glenn johnson could be on the list.

Andre Ward said fighting Froch in Atlantic City was a road fight for him as well.

With talk like that then there is zero chance he comes to the UK to fight.

Is Ward big in the states? Could he sell out a 30k/40k+ stadium?

If they could fight at Wembley then it could happen. But that would likely be another year at least as I cant see them fighting at Wembley in the winter.

Millennium stadium could be a possibility, but i doubt 50k Englishman would go to Wales to see the fight.

no chance of Ward selling out a 30/40k stadium. I think he'll have trouble selling 15k. Nobody outside of boxing fans knows who he is, and doesn't have the boxing style that appeals to casual fans.

The 118-110 was from an American judge. I had feared it came from the Scot.

Andre Ward couldn't sell out a phone box.

Yes and no. The premise is to draw people in so you can counter-punch. The problem though is that you have to be faster than the guy you're in the ring with. I think Kessler had a speed advantage over Froch so Froch got caught with a couple of big shots throughout the fight.

In the history of the sport there's only one person who had that style down to almost perfection (Prince Naseem Hamed) and a couple of others that were/are very good at it (Roy Jones, Jr. and possibly Sergio Martinez).

My list probably goes:

1. Shane Mosley
2. Vitali
3. Chavez Jr.

Best of all time I think is Jake Lamotta or Marvin Hagler.
