This makes sense.

FWIW the rumors about that December event in Saudi-Arabia are gaining steam. Wilder - Joshua and Fury - Usyk back to back total purse up to $400mil.
This would be incredible. Fans may care more about name recognition but if the best fought the best (more frequently than they do now), stars would be born and the name recognition would come with it.

I guess this is what I was trying to say but you did it more succinctly. You don’t even need to go back to the 80s or 90s for when boxing was really great.

Morales, Pacquiao, Barrera, Marquez, DeLaHoya, Trinidad, etc. etc and for the most part they were all fighting each other in their respective classes.

One of my favorite fighters was Johnny Tapia. My heart hurt for this kid and he fought every fight like it was his last.

It seemed like every month there was an intriguing match up of boxers who could really fight.

Crawford by decision would be my guess. No one else excited for this fight???

I don't know anything about these fighters, but both are undefeated so I'll give it a watch.

An Al Haymon fighter getting schooled like that when they finally face real comp is probably worth storing away for when Gervonta finally faces Stevenson or Haney

Would think these 2 just run it back, maybe 154. No one else to fight really.

I didn't even remember this fight was happening until I read that Connor McGregor ripped them for not promoting the fight. That got me a little excited again until I realized the main event would overlap with the final fights of the UFC card.

I'd like to see the PPV numbers of this one compared to Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia a couple months ago.

Fury at -250 v Usyk feels like I should empty the clip?

Smaller fighters give Fury the most problems, but he's kind of underrated byboxing fans because they just don't like him. Dude is elite when his mind is right and still pretty great when he's fat and depressed.

Now i say that and he probably shows up like Damon Wayans in The Great White Hype against Francis or something.

i think they could fight 100 times and fury would win 99 of those fights, and lose 1 because of a freak ankle injury or fan man or something

i am obviously wrong given the line but im not sure how or why

Joshua was -270 for the first Usyk fight.

Based on the exact date the fight might be only two months after Fury - Francis. That's obviously (more or less) an exhibition but there's always an injury risk that's probably higher than a sparing session.
