Hell of a war on the Conlan undercard going on.

Might not last long after that 3rd round though. Hell of a fight.

Props to Geraghty for hanging on as long as he did. Thought the corner should have stopped it between rounds though.

Conlan looked a touch vulnerable in this fight. He doesn't appear to have the power to stop any of the big names in the sport. Pressure fighters are going to give him a lot of trouble at the highest levels. His opponent definitely didn't have enough to beat him but I can see future opponents walking through Conlan's punches and wearing him down with their own power shots.

In OKC at the ESPN fight . Mike Alvarado currently going life and death with some 17-14 bum it’s tough to watch dude is pathetically washed

None of the streams I can find work. Dammit.

Saw that Alvarado got the TKO due to cuts. At 37, he's gotta call it a career.

Man I don't know who these 140 pound fighters are but this is bordering on Fight of the Year material.

Yeah that was an absurd fight . Saucedo is from OKC within one mile of arena so whole crowd was behind him . Bloodiest fight I have seen in years. Saucedo gets a shot at Hooker next for the belt . Guy is fun to watch ...prob won’t have a long career at this rate

I think its fair to say that once Povetkin was brought in to look good against Price on the Joshua under card then it was fairly obvious he was going to be the next Joshua opponent.

All the Wilder / Joshua posturing that followed was just plain BS.

Why is Pacquaio fighting on ESPN+? I know he fought his last fight vs Horn on ESPN last year as well.

I mean this guy was the 3rd biggest star in the lower weight classes of the post-80's era and he is fighting b2b fights on ESPN? Shouldn't he just be fighting on PPV? He can still move 500-700k buys I would think, especially vs the right contender.

Is he just totally owned by his management or something?

Imagine ODH or Floyd fighting b2b fights on ESPN? Does he need $ badly? It's almost like he's being blackmailed from the outside looking in.

Simple. ESPN the cable channel is dying and they want to move to a greater online presence. ESPN+ is their future and boxing is their advertisement for it.

Is there any word on Pac's purse for this fight?

Agree w/ the rest obviously. Their boxing library has everything, probably worth the $5/mo for that alone.

You also get to see all of the undercard on ESPN+ cards as well.

Not sure about the purse.

From what I have read and heard on podcasts it’s very possible pac loses money on this card and he completely ****ed up the promotion obviously.

I actually like the fight in a “ I could see literally any scenario plausibly happening” way which i rarely say in boxing. Gun to my head I guess pac decsion but idk I kind of think Lucas by KO is second most likely outcome... and i am not a big fan of his I always thought he was overrated

Actually looking forward to the prograis fight beforehand I love him. He probably crushes this undefeated South American dude but you never know with these Argentinians... maidana and mattyshe were unknown Argentinians at some point

Was just about to post that.

Seeemed to take it easy on him after the first KD to get some rounds in.

Surprised Silva got up at the end of the 5th. Thought he was gonna take the 10 count and end it.

-------------

Pretty sure Prograis wipes Velasco out early.

I like Regis but not impressing me much tonight tbh. Great chin and power but getting hit too much for me.

Prograis up 7-0 so far IMO.

Velasco saved by the bell twice. Corner should stop fight if he doesn't do anything soon.

Prograis should win the 140 tourney but I would like to see him show some better evasiveness before I get too excited for a Crawford fight. Love his chin though. Him v Taylor should be great

Lol at this clown trainer forcing his fighter to go back out there in a no hope fight when he doesn’t want to this is malpractice and abuse

Velasco looks like he broke a rib or two from those body shots

Why did Lu Bin's handlers think he could beat this in his second pro fight? ffs he isn't Lomachenko. He's tough as nails but woefully inexperienced and without the amateur pedigree to compensate.

--------------------------------

LOL ref stopped the fight with 1 second left. Ref clearly had money on CCC by KO to stop it there. Not that Bin was gonna win or anything but give him enough decency to go the distance.

Wow, Bin stretchered to the hospital. Uh-oh.

Manny so lax that he's either a lock to get KOed or knows the fight is fixed for him to win.
