What a ****ing douche. Tyler Bauer should look at the scoreboard before popping off, and he seems to be the one who is much more mad than the Astros. One of the main reasons he got traded from a playoff team, is because he is hated by everybody.

Great series for the Padres after the egg they laid in the first game. Amazing job by their bullpen tonight given the injuries to their top starters and the crap pitching by the ones who took their places. It was quite a feat to use 9 pitchers in tonight's game and not have a single one of them give up a run. Granted the Cards were a bad offensive team all year but it's still impressive.

It's a shame they have to play LA in the next round instead of the NLCS since these are clearly the two best teams in the NL. The Dodgers are definitely the better team due to their amazing pitching staff so I guess it's to SD's advantage to play them in a 5 game series rather than 7 but I'd love to see more games between these teams.

And it must feel just a little extra good for the Pads to finally beat STL in the playoffs. Last week when I read that STL was the only NL team to ever win a playoff series against SD I had to look it up, it didn't sound possible. The small sample of SD appearances in the playoffs resulted in either losses to STL or trips to the World Series.
