Nadal hits his backhand like no-one else in history. His body faces parallel to the baseline allowing him to angle and pummel the ball as if he was hitting a forehand. It's a strange looking shot that's far more effective than it appears at first glance.

It's disgraceful. If you get Tennis Channel, it looks like they'll be showing both semifinals starting at 1 PM your time.

It's amazing I've been able to catch live tennis every day during the open, and now with 2 matches slated for tv viewing they decide to pull this.

Feds gonna have to pull a Tanya Harding to win this. My money is on Nadal, literally.

And I wouldn't be surprised if Safina won. I think that's gonna be a good match.

Well I have to say that Ivanovic really did deserve the title in the end.

Rafa destroyed Novak yesterday and Fed not playing anywhere near his best still manages to reach a GS final, I hope he picks up his game and wins it.

is Fed grunting? I've never seen him do that before....I've never seen Fed have to dig deep down and somehow will his way through a match...maybe this will be the time?
