Let us not forget the 12 men in the huddle on 1st and goal from the 1 on the 49ers at the end of the 1st half that went uncalled.
There may have been games with more bad calls but that was definitely the most 1sided officiating I've seen in a playoff game since the Pitt-Sea SB. Hilarious to see Harbaugh still throwing temper tantrums. Him vs Carroll is gonna be douche overload.

The 12 men thing was especially amazing since half the Carolina huddle was screaming at the refs that they had 12 men in the huddle and they actively chose to ignore it.

BTW I've said repeatedly that instant replay is a waste of time because while it may get a couple more individual calls right, it doesn't add much of anything to the ultimate fairness given all of the horrendous non-reviewable "judgement calls".

Can't think of a more perfect example of that point than the Vernon Davis TD.

Every Cheffers reffed game seems incompetently done. Just not a Hochuli type guy who exudes authority even when he ****s up

What? So fixing some of the calls is worse than fixing none of them?

The 49ers deserved that Davis TD. Just because it should never have happened due to the Boldin head butt and 12 men in huddle uncalled penalties is irrelevant.

somehow not reviewable

Lions got face****ed by the refs

two game changing awful spots, one of which was upheld the other of which could not be reviewed

a total bull**** overturn on a punt return

in sum three game changing calls that were blatant rig jobs

Bump

NFL's official statement:
Quote:
The on-field ruling was a fumble, recovered by Washington," NFL spokesman Michael Signora said Monday. "It was confirmed as a fumble in instant replay without the need to stop the game. As to the recovery, several different angles were looked at, but with nothing definitive shown, there was no need to stop the game because the on-field ruling that awarded possession to Washington would have stood.

If that video isn't clear enough for you, here is the version that aired live:

I'm also confused because the video appears to have the ball get kicked right to Johnson, but he also doesn't react to the call being redskins ball

It happened awfully fast if he stripped someone else

I hate to say it but I think the NFL is being so adamant that there is "nothing to see here" is because the fumble ruling was made by the only female ref.

Otherwise I think they'd come out and say they blew the call.

They immediately went to replay, so we don't know what Johnson said to the officials. From what we did see, he was really nonchalant about having the football in his hands, instead of immediately approaching the official making the call and showing her the ball.

Can't believe they upheld that horrible spot even when forced to review it. "Indisputable video evidence" to overturn is BS.

As a Chiefs fan that was an enjoyable sequence. 3 players who could just fall for the first down somehow come up and inch short each time.
