Uh, Randy is a psychopath, so it's impossible to predict what he will or won't do.

Either DesertCat is just trolling / levelling this thread super hard (which we aren't supposed to do), or he's making statements that would embarrass a ******. I don't really know him well enough to comment.

Moss is being accused of injuring the woman, whom he has been friends with for 11 years, and denying her medical aid. Friedberg, however, called the accident a result of “consensual horseplay” between Moss and the victim.
Consensual horseplay?! The hell is that?
"I want to give you a noogie, do you agree to said noogie?"

Surprise, surprise, the chick is out of money and has been evicted. Yet she claims Moss was the person to bring up $500,000 and that she turned it down.

This should be the nail in the coffin for her chances in court.

haha seriously...we are applying rational thought to a guy who hit a traffic cop with his car on purpose? the same guy who lost scholarships to arguably the 2 most prestigous schools over drugs/violence? the guy who completely quit on his team during the nfc championship game? c'mon now

While I usually wouldn't believe Moss, he seemed particularly legitimate and convincing during the press conference. Also, this whole thing just smells like BS.

"Moss was due to make $9.75 million in 2007 and $11.25 million in 2008, assuming he wasn't released, of course. He agreed to scrap that contract and sign a one-year deal for $3 million with an additional $2 million in incentives."

Your right, he gave up $5-7 million this year because he just loves Boston's scenery.

And that was when he was w/ OAK. He wants to win, he doesn't train super hard in the offseason so he can get to the afc conference game and then go out and beat up some chicks for fun.

If you really believe this chick, a chick who doesn't have enough $$$ to rent an apartment, yet claims to have turned down 500k so that she can make this story public, you're ******ed.

The truth is almost assuredly a little of column a and a little of column b. If not trusting a model citizen like Randy Moss' word makes me ******ed then so be it.

If he hadn't restructured his deal to accommodate a trade he would have been cut and signed somewhere else for less than the deal he had with Oakland. He definitely took less money to play for the Pats, but it isn't as if he would have gotten the money in his original deal.
