Fallon a favorite to get a card after a pretty reasonable showing today. She'll be joint 4th in the OOM with 3 points. Pretty sure 4 points got in last year, which would mean she'd just need to make L32 once more. +9 legs is a good tie break at this point too.

yeah, unfortunately. her game with harrington was about the only time i've ever wanted both players to time out

Is Q-School streamed or is that too niche?

no stream for q-school, just dart connect scoring

Just checked back, 5 only got you in on leg difference and there were more cards available last year. That said, there's 63 less points available this year because Jenkins didn't turn up to the first two days. 6-1 kicking in first round just now won't help her chances

I'm all for making the game more appealing to "new" or non-traditional markets, but I'm not a fan of having GC in the PL. Other non-Brits more deserving.

No doubt the game is much tougher these days than when the Power was cashing in, and MvG will probably win more titles, but maybe he won't.

so after day 2, we have the following with cards:

arron monk (son of colin, former world youth champion, notably gave taylor a decent run for his money in the uk open one time)
graham usher (very solid in challenge tour last season, should be a competent addition to the tour)
jeffrey sparidaans (mainly a bdo/wdf player, did make their worlds back in 2018 or something, been quiet since, but been quiet since then)
corey cadby (hello boys, i'm back!)

also got pascal rupprecht (young german that nobody knew anything about but has been playing out of his skin), maik kuivenhoven (dutch player who only just dropped his card at the end of the year) and owen roelofs (fairly young dutch player who's yet to do a great deal at a senior level) also looking very good on points on the eu side, nobody looking really safe on the uk side yet, but it's already up to a minimum of 3 points plus huge goal difference, so probably needing 6, maybe 7 total. pdc media darling currently 18th (9 make it)

sherrock out, thank god

payne and de zwaan won cards back yesterday. the elder huybrechts and sedlacek have also won cards through points for sure already

eu q-school is playing the final between veenstra and robbie knops right now, loser has a card on points anyway. zonneveld, labre, klose, van veen and roelofs join that loser in getting a card on points along with kuivenhoven, rupprecht, huybrechts and sedlacek. uk is still running but notably keegan brown has his card back and perez just won one as well. jiwa is still live but would have to bink

so it seems like one of the players that won a card on the uk side is going to one his majesty's special hotels next week, what a time to be alive

also seems as if conan whitehead is missing out on a card where if he'd had said "**** it, i'm going down the pub" this morning, he'd have won one. the pdc will never learn

It meant Callum Goffin was probably going to jail, but he got off with a suspended sentence so nothing to see here I guess

Surely Humphries must have gotten an offer and rejected. Nothing else makes sense.

Given the wording of his Twitter reaction, while nothing crazy, I don't think this was the case

Season proper under way, already three of the big four not into the second round (price withdrew after the PL, MvG and Wright lost to Nentjes and Beaton somehow) so looking wide open already

Also looking at the associate qualifiers, HENDO ON EURO TOUR HYPE

big performance by huybrechts today to bink a pro tour, for someone who was kind of on the cutoff line for hitting majors and staying in the world's top 32, it's huge

Only 1 ref @ Dublin, Hearn spunked all his money on boxing and Leyton Orient.

Doesn't seem too uncommon a thing to have had happen. There's only about 4-5 officials that typically do stage games anyway, at least a couple of them would have already been in Kiel for the Euro Tour starting the next day, might have been the case that one official couldn't actually call (dodgy throat or something) but could be the official noting stuff behind the scenes so someone had to solo the mic

UK Open draw is out, not had a great look at it yet but will have something up the day before

I just noticed it randomly. Not digging Ware out because he doesn't make any mistakes and he's lost the camp Welsh accent he had in the BDO.
