Would be willing to judge.

In reality, if someone invented a time machine and created 21 separate wrestling feds, there'd be only 3 left within 5 years. No fan is going to buy 21 PPVs per month.

I think we need a number of judges, as some people won't be familiar with the newer wrestlers, and some won't be very familiar with the older guys

A draft hasn't been judged in while. I've never been part of one that was judged. I think only the first few were. Most of them never even get finished. You gyus were great.

Yeah, I think ideally we would like 10ish judges.. does that sound right to everyone? That should cover bias towards certain eras.

I think we can get to 10 pretty easily. So far, we have gusmahler, pflwardog, and sportjefe. A bunch of guys wanted to be judges when they heard they couldn't be on a team. A quick search gave me rmthawk64, Debo, and Your Mom. I'll send them all PMs asking.

Anyone who's lurking and wants to judge, make your voice heard. There were a bunch of people like Dids and True North that were participating early on that I'm sure would be willing to judge rosters.

ok, so i suppose a good way for this to work is for each owner to make a writeup (and i know some have already) selling their fed to the judges, then after the writeup, the judges can either post their rankings or pm them to someone who'll compile them. (whichever seems like a better option)

i suppose the easiest way to score is 21 pts for 1st, 20 pts for 2nd, down to 1 pt for 21st (although this can be altered to weight higher rankings higher, something like 30-27-25-23-21-19-17-15-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1), and most points wins... an internet?

we could have both people who have followed and people who haven't.

from my perspective it seems like a crappy thing to do to punish people who've been interested in this since the beginning by kicking them out of the judging.

and besides, any 'non-follower' judge could always, i don't know... read the thread.

If we can get people who have followed the draft, they'll be more familiar with the relative strengths and weaknesses of certain people that were discussed ITT. Opinions are great, but they're better if they're based on something. That's what the draft is all about to me... the discussion.

Vince Russo

Much-maligned over some of his failings in WCW, Vince Russo was still one of the most brilliant minds in wrestling history. He wrote the majority of the angles during the WWF's attitude era, and was known for his ability to write episodic television as well as making sure to always write a storyline for everyone on the show and not ignore the jobbers and other lower card wrestlers.

His problem was that he needed a filter. When he was working with Ed Ferrara and Vince McMahon, they shot down the more ludicrous of his ideas and what was left was television gold. It may sound a little bit egotistical, but in my fed, I feel like that role can be filled by me. I feel like I'm actually pretty good with writing wrestling storylines, and if I have a genius mind like Russo's to work with, I see no reason that the two of us couldn't create some history.

Career highlights:

-WWF head writer during Attitude era
-Former WCW champion
Crap, I was going to take him. Mainly cause my write up would have been a shoot peppered with wrestling lingo. I would have used him basically the same way you want to.
