to go along with the feel of your roster so far, honky tonk makes sence. your obv going for as '80s feel. i am middleish to your roster, but this pick makes sence.

How many times does a guy have to sell out Madison Square Garden (and the Boston Garden and Philadelphia Spectrum) before you consider him to have the ability to make money? That was the standard in Backlund's day.

When was Hogan/Warrior II? I probably saw it, but I just don't remember right now.

I haven't watched a lot of wrestling in the last 15+ years. I have no doubt that you, and others, will have much better stables than I do when this is all said and done.

I am drafting guys off a list I made off the top of my head. My list consists of guys I enjoyed watching, and who I think can still be entertaining. I'm here to have fun, and this thread has delivered. Not only because guys are drafting big names, but because "purists" such as yourself are also contributing. I never even heard of CM Punk before this thing tbh, but I like what I saw online.

I may get into wrestling again once this is all said and done.

I think he's probably referring to the Hogan/Warrior match from like WCW Halloween Havoc '98 I believe.....what a horrible match, solid PPV overall though I would say

I disagree with this. Vince McMahon doesn't just randomly pick guys out of a hat. There's a reason Hardy has been as successful as he's been and gotten the push he's gotten. The WWE is a billion dollar company and they aren't just going to give the title to some guy that isn't that special. Winning the World Title is an extremely exclusive club. I'm sure there are guys out there who can do what Jeff can do in the ring, but for whatever reason they haven't made it and he has. He's not just "random replaceable backflip guy"

+1, I feel that Jeff Hardy is pretty damn unique, I don't think many people could do what he has done, or at least at the same level.

They did it in WCW in 1998. One of 4 matches to be rated negative five stars.

I like the Hardy pick. I don't think I would've passed him up had he fallen to me.

Honky is crap and I never would've picked him outside like the 6th or 7th round. His IC title reign was so frustrating not because he was a great heel, but because he was so terrible that no one could possibly look forward to his matches. To have him as the champion was just so ******* annoying.

i disagree. taz in his prime was awesome. would throw anyone around. he was awesome in the ring.

not to mension his work as a commentator, which i feel was highky underrated.

did not pick him to be an announcer though. he will be the human suplex machine again.

Tazz was a ****ing badass in WWF No Mercy for N64, had by far the best assortment of moves, the T-Bone superplex off the turnbuckle was my personal favorite.
