Baseball needs to get rid of the shift. Your entire life you learn to hit it in the hole. They need to make it illegal defense or something. Guy rips it between the 1B and 2B, oh there's the SS in RF to throw him out at first.
The shift wouldn't exist if hitters were willing to just poke the ball the other way
World Cup: In debatable foul situations the benefit of a doubt is given to the country who has committed the lesser number of atrocities throughout history.
Every player in the NFL gets a load gun, but only one bullet per weapon. All the bullets are blanks except for one live round per team... All blanks are paint balls.
Figured I'd ask the question here. If you signal fair catch for a punt, drop it, and then pick it up, can you advance the ball? Be an interesting way to catch the defense off guard.

Remove intentional grounding as a penalty, but if the ball hits the turf behind the line of scrimmage, it's live.
Death to screen plays!
Long live screen plays where the ball hits the turf but bounces right into the receivers hands, followed by a series of missed tackles that will be put to Yakety Sax!
Yeah- I realized that when I read my own post. No way to implement my rule without it being stupidly complicated and way to subject to interpretations of intent.
Basically I want to penalize the "just **** the ball out your hands without even really throwing it to avoid a sack" type cheats and not punish "just throwing the damn ball away", 'cause I don't think that should be punished and becomes too open to interpretation.
Also I want the rule gone because it brings out hte absolute dumbest in announcers, who fail to realize that in like 90% of situations it's a complete freeroll.
