I gotta take LSU #1. They beat Florida, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia ... and OSU did nothing like any of that. And LSU "D" looking much better.

LSU over Sooners.

OSU over Clemson.

Then the two best teams this year probably.

(By the way, has anybody ever beat Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida in the same season? )

They're right in their wheelhouse, in the playoffs and noone thinks they've got a shot, which means they'll probably ship again.

I always hated bcs and prebcs. Becoming more convinced every year 4 teams is perfect. If it wasn't for football being a brutal sport and college not paying players...I could get behind an 8 team playoff.

But this year is an example why 2 teams was lol.

And yes I love March Madness, because basketball isn't as brutal as football

LSU should be the 1 seed but they'll probably give it to Ohio St

why don't they do the playoff format but with BCS picking the 4 teams? I assume Bama would be the 4th team this year under that method.

It seems like it will very obviously be LSU, Ohio State, Clemson, Oklahoma in that order.

Even if it were eight teams there would be people biyatching - but a whine about #9 being excluded is weaker than #5 which is weaker than #3 - as said above 8 is probably ideal except for the injury factor. Maybe if you could convince P5 teams to go for reducing schedule a game or two and no SEC-style cupcake OOC weekends. But that never happen.
