Also last night in a bar I walked in on two people talking about it, they basically rambled on about how it's the media's fault, we don't know what happened, and whatever. And then probably the most ridiculous thing I've heard in months:

"Joe Pa had nothing to do with this, he did what he had to do, you don't understand the system, it does not work that way!"

I said lolwat?

"Listen, Joe Pa could not stop it, he wasn't a direct witness. If he goes to the cops they would ask for proof, they can't just arrest someone without due process."

His tone was very condescending and by the end of his tirade I simply kept repeating "yep, we'll see what happens at trial. We don't know all the facts etc etc etc" trying not to basically tell the guy to go **** himself.

Oh and he also tossed in a "sorry you were raped as a kid" at one point, which caused people across the bar to give me a "wtf is with that guy?" stare. His friend tried to convince me for 15 min that it has nothing to do with football.

As someone above said, blind faith is a hell of a drug. Unreal.

Fyi I live close to Pittsburgh so tons of PSU supporters around here. At some point I guess you have to feel sad for these idiots, this is truly some kind of mental illness, it's beyond logical and truly sickening.

Wouldn't it be sick if Sandusky gets off (heh) scot free and McQueary ends up in jail for perjury? (I'm assuming child rape did occur).

On you 2nd point there's one story that Sandusky took a kid down to Texas, so they can try him there for that. Also with most kinds of conspiracies, you can [often] charge all conspirators in any state where one of them did an act that forwarded it.

Hopefully this interview will enrage a few silent victims to come forward.
