Roger going ape**** and dishing out harsh punishment is more or less expected on my part.
Not justified either, necessarily.

Last I saw Bill Nye was doubling down on the same mistake that the astrophysicist made.

Some new news from Rappaport this morning:

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ated-footballs

Quote:
>> Prior to the game, a game-day worker employed by the Patriots, a man described as elderly, took two bags of 12 footballs (one bag from each team) into the restroom near the referees' room in Gillette Stadium. The man was in the room for 98 seconds. When he exited the room, he took the balls to the field. There is video of the man entering and exiting the bathroom, but it's unclear if there is a clear shot inside the restroom.

Not exactly a ballboy. Sounds like we need to rerun the "bathroom challenge" with a senior citizen...
Quote:
>> Eleven of the 12 footballs used in the first half were judged by the officials to be under the minimum of 12.5 PSI, but just one was two pounds under. Many of them were just a few ticks under the minimum.
Hmmm. Doesn't seem like a totally insignificant detail there.

EDIT: According to Rappaport on NFLN:

1 ball 2 PSI under
4-5 balls 1 PSI under
4-5 balls "a tick or very close to" 12.5

That is some sloppy-ass cheating if Brady likes the ball to be in such a "specific" way.

It’s ball boys, not ball men. There are no ball men.

Dont reports have the ball that was 2psi under as the one that was on the Colts sideline. Im not saying the Colts deflated the ball on purpose to kickstart the investigation, but they did.

Pats getting Colts 1st rd pick is only compensation I would accept.

NFL looks really bad in this. I get that the investigation is ongoing but over the past 2 weeks there have been conflicting reports coming out nearly daily and everyone has already made up their mind on what went down so even if they are cleared by the investigation its not going to change anyones opinion.

Whatever turns out to be the case I think its bad that the NFL has allowed false reports to just float about and said nothing to correct them.

98 seconds?? He must have deflated the balls because an elderly man cant have a leak in 98 seconds. Would take him 5 minutes, IMO...lol
