yeah that looks pretty bad and annoying, but the MLB thread as a whole looks pretty bad and annoying

this is ridiculous, greear spends all season live-blogging in the STT like he's supposed to and greear has a history of epic threads sweating sporting events (suns tnt streak, twins/tigers 1 game playoff, LEFTY at the masters to name a few). you have made NO effort to post in the STT forum and are one of the worst posters on this site.

It's pretty much been terrible since GREEAR introduced the liveblog/hype up your team incessantly style of posting. I don't mind GREEAR himself that much, just the posters that ripped off his style with none of the good stuff that he provides. It's basically killed most of the interesting discussion and I think most of the really good baseball posters just don't even bother anymore since there's so much noise.

Baseball isn't interesting if it isn't your team to 99% percent of fans, which is the real issue here.

NBA and NFL fans still want to talk about other teams/players, MLB fans don't give a **** most of the time.

in fairness i think a lot of the old MLB posters are just gone - not because the MLB thread has become so crappy but because the big questions in baseball have been to a large degree solved
