I suspect for whatever reason that PSU will be respectable (mostly bc USC's offense isn't that great). Tressel, OTOH, is like Lloyd Carr with somewhat more talent, except that unlike Carr, he doesn't realize that when you're playing an equally or more talented team, you need to stop being mindlessly predictable. Carr at least got that...the Sweatervest, not so much.

I can't wait for the awkward interviews that precede it. I wish I would have bet against Mizzou on this game. Even though they are my alma mater and favorite team, I KNEW they would lose by more than 17 in this game.

having established divisions within conferences and having the winners play for title is pretty established in sports and far from arbitrary. Tex v Missouri is all you can really argue here
