It's a fast track.
Remember Bolt's 100m semi? (the rest before the final wasn't long enough)
Remember the 400m WR?

It was the rain that did it tonight.

This is why I love Bolt, he takes pictures with fans, stays around forever to celebrate.

All Olympic tracks are fast now. They spend a lot of effort making them fast so records fall.

Shame they never did the 4x800 in the Olympics.
Cram, Coe, Cook and Elliot had the WR back in the day.

Not to mention Percy Williams and Ben Johnson. Bruny Surin was 2nd to Bailey at the world championships before too

Bolt's final 100m time sucked because he got a terrible start. His 100m semi time is almost identical to Beijing and London. Looking at the WR from 2008 and 2012, there are a few more records (but that's expected since there are events to go.) This track is far from fast; no better than average, for sure.
