Someone explain how showing this race 13 hrs after it happened, at 11:30 pm EDT is better than showing it live at 10:30 AM EDT.

phelps is now 8/8 saying he's at a loss for words too. I like how his teammates have a few golds each and theyre 2nd fiddle.

When Phelps gets back to America he wont be able to beat off all the 10's with a bat. He can pretty much open a catalogue and point.

That's what's so strange about it, I can see if they wanted to hold it to show right at 8 to kick off their coverage, but 11:30 just makes no sense.
