I can't name undrafteds, but I can think of one big who's FT % has been all over the place.

Hakeem came into the league as a pretty bad FT shooter and became a really good one relatively late into his peak, however his was a gradual climb whereas Dwight's has never really deviated.

Obviously I'm reaching... but hey not impossible! improbable the more I look at it though, stop being right.

Shaq had one or two seasons of drastic FT improvement in the middle of his career

i know you're smart so there's a very good chance you draft optimally the rest of the way. do you disagree with me that a team built around lebron leaves much more room for error? dont lebrons 03-10 seasons prove that you really dont need to "build" a team and you can pretty much just click buttons?

like assani said i think '11 is getting blown way out of proportion, both for the 6 game failbox that was the finals and his slight dip in production in the regular season. i do agree that leheadcase needs to win and needs to play huge like everyone thought he was well on his way to after great celtics/bulls series' to be considered an all-time great.

i just think as far as building the best possible team too much stock is being put into last year and not enough into the more important years for this particular draft. you won't have a wade/undrafted jurassic park character caliber player on your team so the cavs of 03-10 (with better management) or magic of last year are the types of teams you'll probably be having. teams that are completely built around your #1 guy. i just think lbj has proven that his ceiling is higher than dwight's and has performed better in these circumstances.

if you're just saying that you'd prefer to build around best defensive big in the league, thats fine. but i think its wrong to say that dwight is the #1 player in this draft

It could be an error but as Assani said, it might be so that the better team can be built around HGH anyway so it's kind of negligible

the Kobe pick should certainly get more attention, i'd have thought 1 and 2 would go off without much discussion as they were incredibly obvious to everyone, but you can't expect Victor to turn down making Labron in to a 15 page saga

What I'm saying is that after he GOATs people will look back at a single season draft and think that it would've been a big mistake to take anyone else from this era over him.

We can't skip someone this early(especially when their full clock hasn't run out yet) because its too big of a penalty. However, if what you say is true about him posting in tz then we should simply bump his draft spot down until he shows up so that we can get some picks in. No reason to not pick if you're online and you're up.

If you really feel like being harsh, then people who don't show up for the very first pick should be replaced, but I'd probably say give everyone at least two chances before doing that.

the ruling on burdman is just going to be to bump him down until he picks.

AEJones is on the clock but burdman is allowed to pick too. Burdman has right of pick. so if he picks player x at 2:02 and AEJones picks the same player at 2:04, burdman would get him.
