Why are the Cards so reluctant to pitch Lance Lynn in game 4? Isn't he good??

I get that if down 2-1 you'd like to go with your 'best', but how is John Lackey on short rest a better option?

Lance has sucked a fat one the second half of the season. He's been a workhorse for the last few years and was really good at the start of the season, but he's been getting shelled early and often and his command has been an issue. I'd rather see 3 ish innings of Waino, 3 ish innings of Villanueva and then bullpen arms galore to close out the game in game 4 than deal with the unknown of Lance Lynn.

Throw TyLy in that mix too, especially when going through Rizzo/Schwarber.
