Vegas that bad or was that the best game the Oilers played?

both

vgk basically looked defeated from the get-go. and edmonton has to get credit for keeping them down and not letting them get into any kind of a groove. even vgk's power play, which has been good these playoffs, was completely out of whack.

Fun fact:

Rantanen or Granlund or a combination thereof have assisted or scored on the last 19 of 20 goals for the Stars this postseason.

Neither of these players were on the roster when the season started. Jim Nill has won General Manager of the year the last 2 seasons and probably deserves it again this year.

And Pete DeBoer has put together the FIN it to WIN it line of Rantanen, Granlund and Hintz.

GO STARS!!

I’m not sure how much credit he should get for Rantenan lol. That kind of fell into his lap. But I’m still bitter.

I agree and you look how setup they are moving forward. Solid team for years. Though signing players in Texas and Florida and Nevada is so much easier based on the taxes, cost of living and climate

There have been whispers that Benn wants to stay in Dallas and knows he'll have to take a pretty big hair cut to do so. Seguin is recently married and just had a kid, no clue what he wants to do. But he'd have to resign for less as well.

I see little to no chance the Stars are able to resign him for what he'll likely command on the open market.
