Niemi to start @ wild in few. team looking for 4 in row, but 2 w's vs Sens and didn't look good vs reeling blackhawks. got to step it up on the road vs a veteran team. kid kot needs to play better. seems loose with his handle and lost a lot. just 18 what can u do...but wild dont care that's for sure.

Big Bobby Mack saying there's a lot of trade talk going on ahead of the 12/19 roster freeze

mentioned the Kings, Hawks, Flyers & Blues as teams looking to do something
but talk is that it probably won't be the biggest names like Kane, Toews, Doty, Kopitar, etc until the summer at least
maybe guys like Keith, Quick, Carter tho

also mentioned maybe Kapanen to the Canes, I would assume for defense

playing better tonight...12-4 shots v canes through one. i read something about maybe kid kot needs a better line. he never gets anything easy. guy had numbers that say he is doing fine and said he is solid on both ends and ready for bigger role.

Groin injuries are the worst for a hockey player. You get tentative, then you start adjusting your stride and things go downhill real fast. Hopefully he finds a full recovery.

Meanwhile Vasilevsky is giving a lesson in hockey variance and goalies. He has more 10 ten bell saves in this game than I've seen all year. Plus we are going to hit 50 shots on goal. (43 with 10mins left)

You have the teams that were tanking even going into the year then an unusual amount of teams this year who thought they were going to be good who are dog****, so there are just a ton of sellers now.
