damn, why did i give Anaheim the extra 2.33%? i should have just left it alone, dumb!

plus SJ is way underrated, i'm seriously worried that they're going to RANG this year. 7% is way too low for them. if Tampa holds in this series, then they look to be fodder for Boston/Philly or the WC champion in the Final. same with Nashville if they beat Vancouver, will probably just get worked in the WCF (but the Canucks might too).

but this "system" of mine did correctly identify that none of the teams seeded 6-8 had any chance of winning the SC, and they all lost in the 1st round. so yay me!

just sayin'...
Vancouver-San Jose has EPIC written all over it.

The Caps absolutely dominated territorially. Some of that can be attributed to score effects, but the Bolts struggled to maintain offensive zone pressure, struggled on the forecheck, and the Caps had no trouble penetrating the 1-3-1. Without a sick performance by Roloson, the Caps would have won 7-0. Boucher better make some smart adjustments now that the Bolts can dictate matchups.

the scary part is that LOL_BLACKJACK is so bad he made Keevin appear pretty smart by comparison

i don't consider this a domination, especially not with score effects. washington probably outplayed tampa, but not by a huge margin.

Wasn't Bradley hit from behind? Looked like a penalty.

I dont know how much score effects should really play in but the caps were obviously superior even strength at essentially every moment. Tied ahead or behind. Im interested to see what percentage of scoring chances the bolts cashed in on. It seemed theyd so nothing for half a period, then get some pressure which would without fail result in a goal

washington is clearly the superior hockey machine. if they don't win, and win convincingly at that, both games in tampa it would be very surprising. they will come out guns a blazing next game there's no doubt about that and all tampa can hope for is to not be utterly embarrassed. seriously, tampa should consider themselves lucky to even be allowed on the same ice as the mighty washington. hopefully they will learn something and maybe there is a minuscule chance that sometime in the distant future when yzerman has become the oldest GM in the league tampa will be half as good as the current washington team. one can only hope.
