Wings need to revert to old lines splitting Datsyuk and Zetterberg IMO... gotta play 3-4 lines against the Sharks...

Cleary needs to be with one of them along with Franzen and Bert otherwise they are not gonna produce anything...

go back to Helm Abdelkader and Fil... swap in Miller and Eaves when needed

I don't think it's unimportant to note. The Sharks had the puck in the Wings zone because they had just come off the power play and the Wings were likely gassed after just killing off a 4 minute power play. It's not an excuse, it's just a contributing factor of the goal happening.

man, aside from the goal, the thornton line really outplayed the datsyuk line.

Any wangzzzzzz fan saying they feel good about the series is ****ing delusional. Sharks were the better team and save for about 7 minutes in the first just dominated this game. By the grace of god and Howard playing so far above expectation you didn't lose 5-1. I saw nothing in this game besides howard luckboxing to suggest Detroit has a chance

If the opposing teams announcers said it then it must be true!!

The point is that when the Datsyuk line was on the ice at even strength they spent more time in their own zone than in the attacking zone.

And see my edit. The better way to put it would be SJ 'won' the battle of the top lines. Det is ****ed if this happens all series unless they split up Z and Datsyuk.

Isn't this the problem with these statistics? Datsyuk's line was definitely outplayed but I don't think it had anything to do with Datsyuk. It shouldn't be that surprising since it was Zetterberg's first game back.

Seriously between the Eaves call in the 3rd and the Bertuzzi call in the 3rd I'm not sure which is worse.
