I remember when an occasional Mitch Albom column was funny. [This makes me very old... and he still was never as good as Mike Downey, whom he replaced.]

Well, I think he has his sides reversed — appreciation of sports is all about emotion, not intellect, so that should be labeled right side — but yes, clearly his left side is correct. You can analyze the games to death, but to care about them is fundamentally emotional, irrational... and fun, and that's the point of it all. If you're following this series but don't agree that this is fun — if you can't suspend a little disbelief, can't ignore that fact that it's only the second round (and that even if it were the finals it still wouldn't matter in any important sense) and just get caught up in the excitement — then you're missing out on the thrill that justifies sport's existence.

Im not trying to troll when saying this but the sharks are the better team and match up better. especially when considering zetterburg, datsyuk, and franzen are presumably not at full strength
gl DWD its a shame youre off the bandwagon right before the last Junior Varsity ends and when the real cup run starts with Varsity games next round. Ill miss ya when were celebrating in june and the parade happens at HP pavilion.
