Nice find. As a coach manager or whatever that interview alone puts him on the I don't want him on my team ever list. I can appreciate passive aggressive it that spot but that clearly wasn't there either and for the sake of yourself AND your team you have to stand up there. I bet it wasn't his intention to sum up his career in an interview but...

If true, that's sad. Sharks are obviously a strong team — not perfect, and I think relying on Thornton to carry them is not the best thing, but any kind of desperation mentality will be very bad for what, realistically, is a top echelon team.
