sharks were -8 in the first in the playoffs and the wings were +5. Its pretty crucial to come out to a good start and keep the wings off the score board since the sharks and anti niemi are usually better in the 2nd and 3rd period. I realize we are lucky to have held them scoreless, now we have to pick it up like usual.

Technically, the rule is the puck can be directed in only by a stick. Don't know how they'd have called it, though.

i mean it looked like pavel was coming after joe and joe just put him down before dats could do the same to him. As a captain you have to set an example to your team mates to be physical and not to be intimidated, and he set a good example the first period. if he was being passive people would just say hes the same old joe who doesnt care. seems like no matter what he can never be right in the minds of some. i wanna see the replay again though.
