I said as if Pouliot, Hagelin and Rick Nas werent also falling all over the place ... implying I acknowledged some of the habs had embellished the highsticks calls, but thought the rangers have been doing the same thing for the last few games.

It doesnt change the fact that the highstick on emelin, the slash behind desharnais head, and the slew foot + one hand pullback combo noncalls were all pretty blatent examples of refs making use of discretionary judgement to "even up" games.

On another hypothetical note:

i think ill root for the rangers if it does happen.

I just really love MSL, and i'd support him through the gutwrenching side-effect of seeing nutshot2 and he07 be happy. Kind of like I'd be happy for Bergeron, but the bruins are too despicable to even consider rooting for them in anything ever.

lolpiss, at least I'm capable of calling dives dives and stupid noncalls stupid non calls. I'm not there complaining every time a player whips his head back when he actually gets highsticked in the face and subsequently complaining that people complain about noncalls.

The tip of the stick got right below is chin. There's always a natural reaction to whip your head backwards to avoid getting your eyes gouged. He might or might not have amplified the motion, I wouldnt be surprised either way. Probably leaning towards the former. It was still a high stick.

It is pretty amazing though. Rangers trade WIMless American Ryan Callahan for infinite WIM Marty St. Louis, Art Ross at age 37. It's basically a free RANG.

It would be incredible to think what the St Louis Blues could do if they traded that WIMless American David Backes for a Canadian Cup winner like a Staal bro, Richards, Horton, Lucic, etc.

The KANGZ would probably have set themselves up to win 10 straight Cups if they ridded WIMless Brown for Marty St Louis at the deadline.

man the RAGS are gonna be crushed when they end up losing this series. glorious.

I said HABS would win in 7 with DUSTY so things are going according to the plan. however, it would be nice if Riverboat MIKE could change up his zone exits, Vigneault has him figured out by now and always has someone in place to collect the pucks HABS so willingly CHIP OUT and DUMP IN.

if it was against the bruins they woulda said bergeron etc.

heck you can add up the 2nd goal too as derrick brassard is from quebec.
