yup. yup it has been. but we finally did what i was hoping we'd do after the lockout. small hope w/ jagr but the concept of super high priced talent, individual stars, and meh rookies for the most part didn't work.

NOW we actually have a TEAM (i think imo it 'started' in 2008 when cally was pulled up for good and i loved watching cally/dubinsky's line (they rotated some wingers out and eventually anisimov joined and that was a hugely powerful scoring line)).

but yea, it's been a long hard 15 years (well, 14 w/ the lockout).

it was a little fun from 1994-1997 and having gretzky was all well and good but that was still under the whole "get high priced talent" bs.

being a devils fan woudl have been more fun from 1988-now but then...well...i'd have been a devils fan and would have had to kill myself for being one.
