I was just ranting about this. Can we be more result-oriented? Idiots.

But remember, Holmgren was brilliant enough to give up most of a team plus his baby sister or something like that in exchange for one of those goalies. And clearly that was a great decision because, I mean, well, look.

First off, Lombardi in LA is Secretariat at the Belmont.

More importantly, Bryz is rocking an .857 save percentage right now. Well worth it, IMO!

Just to add to it, the Carter trade actually worked out but if the Jets had drafted Couturier or he'd not turned out better than expected they'd be far worse off because of it.

Why, because he led the Kings to a total of 3 less points this year than last year?

Flyers had a couple less points too, but got significantly younger while remaining just as good, and had their best player injured all year.

Not even a comparison.

Dougie Hamilton is pretty good too so it only would have been an issue because Schenn got hurt.

But given how well Holmgren has dealt with incredibly injury issues this year, I have faith we would have coped.

Guys we can't be results oriented look at Bryzagalov's save percentage in two games that he won!!

lololol

Matt Read had 23 goals, 47 points and played the PK all year.

Holmgren basically just found a random 25 year old dude chilling in his basment to be a top 6 forward on a contending team.

But lol results oriented right. He could have been terrible!

That's 5 more goals than Mike Richards (Lombardi's big offseason acquisition) for those counting.

But lol me, I'm talking about results again!

Fair enough, except that Milbury used Bryz as a reason the Flyers are in this position and that Holmgren has done such a great job.

the point is that bryz isn't very good and hes rly rly overpaid. Theres also aa opportunity cost, considering that he takes starts away from bobrovsky, who is likely better.

hmm thats good data, i was mainly going off cwice pimping bob so much. Point is though that the difference of money isnt worth it.
04-15-2012 , 03:28 PM

04-15-2012 , 03:29 PM
Why did I ever bet the under in this series?
04-15-2012 , 03:29 PM
For some stupid reason I'm happy about scoring first.
