500 goals & 1000 points is usually good to get serious consideration at least. and the higher your point per game scoring average the better.
43 guys have done that, all are in except:
Jaromir Jagr - lock 1st ballot HOFer once retired
Alex Ovechkin - lock 1st ballot HOFer once retired
Pierre Turgeon - 515g/1327pts, wonder if they'll ever circle back and consider him
Teemu Selanne - just got in today
Mark Recchi - just got in today
Jeremy Roenick - will probably get in eventually
Keith Tkachuk - has a chance
Marian Hossa - should get in
Jarome Iginla - very likely 1st ballot HOFer once retired
Dave Andreychuk - just got in today
Pat Verbeek - pretty unlikely to get in imo
Patrick Marleau - has a chance
but as scoring has dropped since the 80s, the benchmarks have become more flexible. 400-something goals & 900-something points can get you in, usually with Stanley Cup wins, individual awards, international success, etc.
it can be hard to predict because the people making the selections are real old donks.
