I'm actually pretty excited at the prospect of Edmonton getting a 3-4% chance at trolling the whole league with another #1 pick. That would be great.

Geddy's equity is decent for Calgary. Not amazing, but decent. I wouldn't mind seeing it go to Tampa or the Avs.

As an aside, it still blows my mind the Panthers made a final 2 years into existence. Maybe they never see another before that team is sent to Hamilton or who knows where.

It still blows my mind that detroit didn't make the final so I could see them win the cup possibly in person

CWICE, who you rooting for in this year's playoffs? You can give me a top 3 if its too hard to just pick one alternate team

All right, I need a Metallica song to get myself pumped up for today's games. Any suggestions? Nothing from the Black Album or any singles.

The number that really matters is points in the standings and Toronto is only a bit behind, not playing great lately but Montreal playing worse and Toronto is at home.

Basically the Leafs have been getting extremely lucky in this short season. Habs are a much better possession team, so they should be expected to win more.

Ya I've heard this a couple times, that the Leafs have been lucky and I'm not buying it. A big part of their success is that their goaltending has been fantastic, not really fair to Reimer to call that luck.

I mean that chart is sorted by FF%, gong by a stat that has NJ at the top and the Leafs at the bottom is ******ed period.

Well you wanted the reason why the Habs are betting favorites. If you disagree, you can hammer the Leafs side of the line and earn a ton of Sklansky bucks.

Darren Dreger ‏@DarrenDreger 27s
All indications are the Dallas Stars are about to make a GM change. Detroit's Jim Nill expected to be named GM of Stars as early as Mon.
