That song is fantastic and I wish it could be associated with Montreal, but Plastic Bertrand is Belgian.

Isles because them beating the pens would be the greatest thing ever.

Sharks because Sharks, BRAP BRAP BRAP REPRESENT WUTZ REALLY HOOD WAT SON!

the logic is that chicago/la/boston/pitt wins the cup 99.8472625483% of the time so, realistically, selling can make some sense. I mean, for the sharks, the worst thing probably is to trade clowe and then keep everyone - no half measures, imo.

also, giving up anything substantial at all for clowe seems like a huge leak. Havent looked at the corsi numbers, but he seems like hes declined from the player he was 2-3 years ago. Used to drive the play somewhat, was a goodish playmaker, and could score sometimes too. Now hes sort of an over rated goon. Having said that, on the third line or something for boston, hed fare better than he has so far this year.

Mr. Hockey is 85 today.

None of these are on Howard at all. First one was a bad bounce, 2nd one was terrible defense, 3rd one was just lol Kindl
03-31-2013 , 12:48 PM
Holy **** Chicago is drinking what Taylor Hall had last night...wow.
03-31-2013 , 12:48 PM
Kindl's best move all year? Backhand shelf job on Howard. Howards reaction is priceless

well they're probably gonna make the playoffs anyway, and also i'm talking about moving whatever non-essential parts anyone wants. not the Sedins or any key players for next year and going forward. of course they can't/won't do this bc you can't be seen as "selling" heading into the playoffs or whatever, even though that kind of deadwood is largely irrelevant to any playoff success they might have. the team wins by preventing goals, and hoping the Sedin line can score 1 or 2. that's about it. not like it's hard to fill in the other spots with plugs who play hard and responsibly.

i mean half the forwards they're dressing right now are: Lapierre, Schroeder, Ebbett, Pinizzotta, Gordon, & Sestito

this team is going exactly nowhere, why not face the truth and start working on next year already?

yeah SJ seems to be saying that the asking price is a 1st + prospect, but i don't know if i see that, could be posturing. a good clue there is that the Rag$ are supposedly in the running, but they don't have their 2013 1st anymore, lol.
03-31-2013 , 12:48 PM
Howards GAA this game is 38.43
03-31-2013 , 12:50 PM
jeez we need to kill the good players not Carcillo
03-31-2013 , 12:50 PM

even getting a first for clowe seems like rape. guess wilson has probably gotten more for less though. In his playing days, i imagine in the dressing room, he could convince someone to exchange his cold ham sandwhich for a hot pastrami one. If they get that for clowe, the coup for marleau and thornton must be out of this world.
03-31-2013 , 12:52 PM
Yeah that looked painful as ****
