Since the lockout Semin has been scoring at a rate of ~36 G / 82 games. People seem surprised by the $ & term, but he's been an elite player for 6-7 seasons now, he's hitting UFA in (the second half of) his prime and the new cba hinders teams' ability to bring down the cap hit.

I think it's an alright contract. The term might end up being a bit long. We'll see.

in case anyone was wondering, the mystery player from the previous page was indeed Little GI Joe Real US Amurrrrrican Hero Pavelski, as sea weiss said

of course he attributes his statistical AIDS to runbad and shutting down the other teams' best, meh ... however i'm not so sure that he didn't legit contract AIDS around Valentine's Day this year, or is playing hurt or something

I'll take a tie at this point 3/4 ain't bad off the B's.

Gardiner is a nightmare defensively and he was to blame on that last goal not Phaneuf. In fact Reimer was more to blame than Phaneuf there.
